A Pan-African Consulting Firm within the Durumi Axis of Abuja is sourcing for Travel and Tour Officers on a full-time Basis
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design customized or pre-packaged travel plans, including sightseeing, excursions, and activities tailored to client preferences.
- Secure airline tickets, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and tour packages through industry distribution systems.
- Advise clients on destinations, travel trends, and local attractions while answering questions regarding travel requirements.
- Negotiate rates and build relationships with hotels, transportation services, and local tour guides to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Assist clients with the administrative side of travel, such as applying for visas, ensuring valid passports, and arranging travel insurance.
- Handle trip disruptions (e.g., flight cancellations, missed connections, or medical emergencies) by re-booking and providing immediate alternative solutions.
- Promote tour packages, manage social media or brochures, and attract new clients
Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of travel agent experience in both agency and corporate settings across multiple industries.
- Familiarity with the GDS booking system. (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) A CRM tool is an advantage.
- Understanding of foreign and domestic travel requirements or restrictions
- Familiarity with the latest travel trends, including popular vacation locations and activities.
- Strong Knowledge of visa application procedures for major countries (e.g, UK, USA, Canada, Schengen.
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 200,000
