Security Guards

Responsibilities:

• Guard and patrol assigned premises to ensure the safety and security of people and property
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to prevent unauthorized access
• Verify the identity of visitors, staff, and contractors entering the premises
• Conduct routine security checks and inspections of buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems where applicable
• Respond promptly to emergencies, security breaches, disturbances, and suspicious activities
• Report incidents, accidents, damages, or security concerns to supervisors
• Maintain accurate security logs, visitor records, and incident reports
• Enforce company security policies, safety regulations, and access control procedures
• Assist with crowd control and traffic management when required
• Support emergency evacuation procedures and safety drills
• Provide professional assistance and directions to visitors and staff

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a related security role is an advantage
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
• Good observation, communication, and reporting skills
• Ability to remain alert and respond effectively to emergencies
• High level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
• No criminal record
• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
