Montessori Directress

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a stimulating Montessori environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy and child-centred learning.
• Present Montessori materials and lessons appropriately to each child’s stage of development.
• Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress, behaviour, and interests.
• Foster emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth through individualised and group activities.
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and orderly classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing feedback on children’s development.
• Support other teachers in integrating Montessori methods across age groups.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school events as required.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or Certificate in Montessori Education (0–3 or 3–6 years) from a recognised Montessori training centre.
• NCE or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Ed. / Early Childhood Education) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a Montessori classroom.
• Deep passion for child-led learning and Montessori principles
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Strong observation, documentation, and organisational skills
• Warm, patient and nurturing personality
• Team spirit and commitment to continuous professional development
• Creativity and flexibility in lesson planning and presentation.
