We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Corporate/Commercial Lawyer to join our Client's dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate law and commercial transactions, with proven experience advising clients on a wide range of business and regulatory matters.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters, including company structuring, governance, company secretarial, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, MOUs, NDAs, service agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and other transactional works.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and memoranda.
- Assist in due diligence exercises and preparation of transaction documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities such as CAC, SEC, and FIRS where necessary.
- Stay up to date with legal developments and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the firm.
- Collaborate with other practice areas on cross-functional matters when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- BSc. Degree in any course of study
- LL.B degree from a recognized institution and BL from the Nigerian Law School.
- Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent Writing, Speaking, Listening, and Presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory frameworks.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-service orientation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive).
