Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Licensed Lawyer to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel, manage a diverse caseload, and represent clients with professionalism, integrity, and strategic insight.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare all necessary legal documents for case filings, including briefs, motions, and other court submissions.
- Schedule and conduct depositions of witnesses and expert witnesses.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, including analysis of legal principles, case law, judicial opinions, statutes, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply accurate legal citation standards and conduct thorough statutory interpretation to support written analyses and legal arguments.
- Ensure the accuracy and proper organization of all case files, documentation, notes, and reports.
- Engage in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes that satisfy the strategic goals of the firm while addressing client interests.
- Ensure that all parties comply with court-ordered judgments and fulfill required fines or penalties.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, lawsuits, deeds, wills, and appeals.
Requirements:
- LL.B degree and B.L from the Nigerian Law School.
- A first-class or 2.1 certificate from the university.
- Minimum of 6 months of post-call legal practice experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to represent clients effectively in court and in negotiations.
- Good people skills for effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of the Head of Legal.
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
