Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage client files and provide strategic legal advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Conduct advanced legal research and provide opinions on complex issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, public speaking, and advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiar with law firm ethics.
- Litigation Experience.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and admission to the Nigerian Bar.
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years of post-qualification experience in Litigation.
- Proven track record of handling cases or transactions independently.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate within a team.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service orientation.
