Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements (sale, lease, tenancy, joint ventures)
- Conduct property due diligence and verify land titles/documents
- Ensure compliance with property laws, regulations, and company policies
- Handle land documentation processes (e.g., title registration, transfers, and permits)
- Provide legal advice on property transactions and investments
- Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external solicitors
- Manage disputes, claims, and litigation related to property matters
- Prepare and review contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
- Ensure proper documentation and safe custody of legal records
- Support the company in risk management and legal strategy
Requirements:
- LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university
- BL qualification and Called to the Nigerian Bar
- Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate or corporate law
- Strong knowledge of property laws and documentation
