Job summary
The Legal Officer will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management, and legal advisory services. This role ensures the company operates within legal frameworks while supporting strategic and operational decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in all matters relating to Shareholders, the Board of Directors, and Management, including the administration of board, committee, and management meetings.
- Administer the corporate registry, maintaining accurate and up-to-date corporate documents and key records.
- Act as the Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and internal policies.
- Maintain schedules of regulatory and statutory returns and ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
- Conduct legal research and continuously monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in maintaining legal databases and documentation systems for efficient record-keeping.
- Provide legal support and advisory services on contracts, agreements, and corporate transactions.
- Attend to law enforcement directives and regulatory inquiries related to customers’ accounts.
- Draft, review, and manage internal and external legal communications and documentation.
- Perform any other legal functions or assignments as delegated by the General Counsel or Company Secretary.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience
- Degree in Law
