We are seeking a Legal & Administrative Officer to support both legal functions and day-to-day administrative operations. This role is a hybrid function, combining legal research, contract management, regulatory compliance, and administrative oversight.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research, prepare memos, and provide advice on regulatory, corporate, or business issues
- Liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as required
- Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Maintain and organise corporate records, policy manuals, and legal filings
- Oversee administrative operations: office management, procurement, facilities, and vendor management
- Support HR administrative tasks, such as employment contracts, onboarding, and compliance with labour laws
- Monitor changes in relevant local, state, and national laws and ensure organisational compliance
- Assist in risk management initiatives, compliance audits, and internal controls
- Provide general administrative support to senior management as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or related field; additional qualifications (LL.M, paralegal certification) a plus
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a legal or legal-administrative role, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong understanding of Nigerian laws and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document-management systems
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across different departments
