Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and other building services.
- Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software.
- Supervise and monitor mechanical installation and maintenance on construction or manufacturing sites.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Identify and resolve mechanical design and implementation issues efficiently.
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Conduct inspections and provide technical reports on project progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, plumbing, and building services.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software.
- Knowledge of local engineering codes, safety standards, and quality regulations.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- COREN registration or progress toward certification is an added advantage.
- Ability to work on-site and supervise technical staff as needed.
