Marketing Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and accounting support to the marketing and finance teams
• Prepare, process, and maintain marketing-related invoices, payment records, and financial documents
• Monitor marketing expenses, budgets, and expenditures to ensure proper tracking and reporting
• Maintain accurate records of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and related costs
• Assist in preparing financial reports, expense summaries, and performance analysis for marketing activities
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding marketing projects, payments, and documentation
• Support the preparation of quotations, purchase orders, and contracts related to marketing activities
• Track sales and marketing performance data and prepare relevant reports
• Maintain organised filing systems for accounting and marketing documents
• Provide administrative support for marketing campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and documentation requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• 3 — 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or marketing administration
• A background that bridges both marketing and finance is highly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage ERP, Peachtree, or QuickBooks) is an added advantage
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work across both marketing and finance functions simultaneously
• Must be based in Lagos and available to work fully on-site
