Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a Lottie Designer. The Lottie Designer will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality Lottie animations to enhance user experience across various interfaces. Responsibilities include collaborating with designers, developers, and product teams to bring animations to life, maintaining brand consistency, refining designs based on feedback, and ensuring optimization for performance and usability. The designer will also stay current with trends and best practices in motion design and animation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in motion design tools and software such as Adobe After Effects, LottieFiles, or similar animation platforms
- Experience in creating and optimizing Lottie animations for web and mobile applications
- Solid understanding of user experience and interactive design principles
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with designers, developers, and product teams
- Ability to test, iterate, and refine animations to meet technical and aesthetic requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation or related field preferred
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and coding animations is a plus
- Portfolio showcasing previous work in Lottie animations and motion design
