Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the assigned execution targets on lending.

  • Achieve the assigned overall collection ratio.

  • Deposit mobilization and other products as per Bank instructions and guidelines.

  • Maintain & comply with the average Interest Rate specified by the Bank periodically.

  • Cross selling of all products available in the Bank.

  • Enhance the quality & growth of the client portfolio in the region.

  • Create customer awareness about documentation requirements, to obtain services well in advance.

  • Introduce new customers to the portfolio as a regular basis & ensure retention of existing customers.

  • Adhere to all Bank policies, procedures, guidelines and practices.

  • Update yourself on the product knowledge, processes and procedures regularly.

  • Enhance quality of service provide to customers continuously.

  • Maintain the highest level of integrity


Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on arrears to mitigate the risk of the Bank.

  • Account management & sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities.

  • Establish, promote Bank image in the state and maintain a good relationship with business partners, business introducers and other financial institutions in the area.

  • Monitor and report competitor activities in the region to superiors.

  • Participate in promotional events organized at branch level.

  • Maintaining the highest level of secrecy of customer and Bank information.

  • Handle Bank resources with utmost care.

  • Inform the management on malpractices observed/detected/aware.

  • Safeguard the confidentiality of all information pertaining to the Bank and the Organization obtained externally or internally during the course of employment and refrain from divulging same to any third party


Requirements

  • Strong analytical skill.

  • Drive and resilience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and planning skills


Skills

  • IT knowledge, as transactions are usually done through computerized systems.

  • Data processing skills, including spreadsheet packages 

  • Analytical and communication skills 

  • Unmatched attention to detail.

Required Education:

  • ND or University Degree in Finance/ Accounting

Other Requirements:

  • Previous work experience with MFB (0-3 years)
  • Salary: N50,000 – N75,000
