Job Description/Requirements


A Leading Cosmetics, Beauty and Wellness Company in Nigerian is recruiting for the post of an Inventory Officer. 

The candidate must be smart, ability to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 



Responsibilities 


The requirements of this key result area will include but are not limited to-


  • Receive, store and issue goods/products

  • Fulfil purchase orders

  • Record, track and monitor stock levels

  • Monitor distribution of stock in collaboration with retail and wholesale operations

  • Maintain stock records using manual and/or computerized systems

  • Draw up and plan inventory orders/requests in collaboration with the purchasing team

  • Check and confirm supplies against invoice and purchase orders

  • Prepare adjustment reports done to inventories that may be missing, damaged, spoilt etc.

  • Partake in the reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system(database)

  • Ensure stock is arranged in an orderly manner to allow for easy retrieval and ensure that stock is protected from physical damage

  • Undertake regular stock takes (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) to confirm periodic stock position

Job Requirement

    • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Administration or other related fields

    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills 

    • Knowledge of accurately calculating and excellent numerate skills.

    • Ability to make and maintain computer records and entries. 

    • High levels of computer literacy

    • Understanding and ability to analyze data.

    • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.

    • Should effectively manage time and meet necessary deadlines
