Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all accounting and financial operations across different business locations.
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and procedures to ensure standardisation and compliance.
- Supervise account reconciliation, general ledger management, and monthly financial reporting.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenditure to ensure effective cost control.
- Ensure timely preparation of management accounts and statutory returns.
- Manage inter-company transactions and ensure proper documentation across business units.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.
- Support the executive team with data-driven financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Lead, train, and supervise accounting staff across locations.
- Travel regularly between business units to monitor and coordinate accounting activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- A professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or head-level role.
- Proven experience managing multi-location or multi-business accounting operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
