Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory regulations
- Manage company expenses, payments, and reconciliations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Provide legal tax planning and cost optimization advice
- Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors when necessary
Requirements:
- HND (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and tax filing procedures
- Ability to prepare financial statements and management reports
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
