Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Heading credit committees and taking loan decisions daily, ensuring a high-quality loan portfolio while creating an open discussion among credit committee members.
- Supervising and analysing the results of team members on a regular basis, ensuring the fulfilment of quantitative and qualitative targets for the team.
- Manage and grow the credit portfolio.
- Responsible for all areas of credit staff management, including training ,monitoring evaluating and management performance
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking and finance, Marketing or any related course with a minimum of 2:2; professional certification/postgraduate study is an added advantage.
- Years of Experience: 5 years and above
- Must have a sound understanding of CBN prudential guidelines and the credit risk management framework.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with core banking systems (software) like BankOne.
- Must have a flair for marketing, strong capacity to read corporate financial statement, track non-performing loans and accurately calculate portfolio at risk (PAR)
Location: Lekki, Lagos.
Work days: Mon-Fri
