Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and others).
- Conduct tax audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and perform account reconciliations.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting services.
- Use accounting software for generating reports and recording transactions.
- Collaboration with other team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- ICAN ACA or ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in taxation and accounting, preferably within a consulting or professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
