Job summary

The Finance and Operations Officer will be responsible for supporting financial management, maintaining accurate records, monitoring operational processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory obligations. This role suits disciplined, detail-oriented professionals who demonstrate strong integrity, reliability, and the ability to manage both financial and operational responsibilities with minimal supervision. Candidates must possess structured thinking, accuracy, and strong organisational capability.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense documentation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and financial reviews.
  • Support periodic financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Monitor payables, receivables, and cash flow positions.
  • Assist in expense tracking and cost control initiatives.
  • Support operational coordination, logistics tracking, and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory-related financial and operational records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and internal control requirements.
  • Support audit processes and internal reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on administrative and operational matters.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in finance, accounting, or operations support roles.
  • Practical knowledge of financial processes and reconciliations
  • Familiarity with accounting tools, operational reporting, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Understanding of Nigerian statutory and tax compliance requirements.
  • Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, etc.) are an added advantage.
