Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Present lessons across core subject areas (English, Mathematics, Cultural Studies, Science, etc.)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on observation and assessment.
- Guide pupils toward independence, critical thinking, and responsibility.
- Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
- Manage classroom behaviour using positive discipline strategies.
- Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments where required.
- Communicate effectively with parents through meetings and written reports.
- Collaborate with fellow educators.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (B.Ed./B.Sc Mathematics/Education Mathematics, or B.A/B.Ed English or related field)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an elementary classroom.
- Strong classroom leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Broad subject knowledge
- Adaptability to mixed-ability learners.
