Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Technical Evaluation and Repairs:
- Diagnose and repair faults in electric vehicle systems, including batteries, motors, controllers, and wiring harnesses.
- Conduct root-cause analysis using diagnostic tools and ensure all repair work meets OEM and safety standards.
Maintenance Planning and Execution:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on EV components such as cooling systems, charging ports, relays, and fuses.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure vehicles operate efficiently and reliably.
Performance Testing and Quality Control:
- Conduct calibration, testing, and verification of high-voltage systems and control units.
- Record and report test results, ensuring all maintenance and repairs meet performance and safety benchmarks.
Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
- Implement high-voltage safety procedures, participate in safety drills, and ensure compliance with environmental and electrical regulations.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace while handling and storing batteries safely.
Product Improvement:
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on system performance, participating in retrofitting projects, and assisting in the integration of EV components to enhance vehicle efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of EV electrical systems and power electronics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
- Experience with EV charging systems, powertrain maintenance, and preventive servicing.
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and interpret schematics.
