Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate the depot tinting machine to fulfil walk-in and pre-ordered customer colour requests on the spot
- Receive color requests from customers, whether by physical sample, photo reference, shade card selection, or colour code; and produce accurate matches promptly.
- Advise customers on color selection, finish options, and product suitability for their specific project type.
- Maintain accurate records of every colour job completed; formula, pigment ratios, batch size, and customer details for repeat order reference.
- Ensure all completed colour batches are correctly labeled before handover to the customer or dispatch.
- Monitor tinting pigment stock at the depot and raise replenishment requests to procurement before stock runs out.
- Keep the tinting area and machine clean and in proper working order; report any faults immediately.
- Work alongside the Customer Service Rep to ensure a smooth customer experience from enquiry to product handover.
- Escalate complex technical colour queries to the factory colour matcher or production lead when required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience.
- A minimum of an HND in a related field
