Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Systems Infrastructure & Support:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot office hardware, network switches, routers, firewalls, printers, and workstation setups.
- Serve as primary technical support for internal staff, resolving software, connectivity, hardware, and system access issues quickly.
GDS & Software Maintenance:
- Manage software installations, API integrations, booking engine connections, and terminal configurations for GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.) and internal travel management ERPs.
- Coordinate with third-party IT vendors, internet service providers (ISPs), and software providers to ensure optimal uptime.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols, user permissions, multi-factor authentication, and antivirus protection across all systems.
- Safeguard payment gateway data and sensitive client travel records in accordance with data protection regulations.
Data Management & Backups:
- Conduct routine system backups (local and cloud-based) and disaster recovery tests to protect company operational data.
- Maintain hardware/software inventory lists and evaluate equipment upgrade requirements as the agency grows.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in network administration, hardware troubleshooting, and system support. Experience supporting GDS setups or travel software is a plus.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of network protocols, cloud management, and software support.
Location: Abuja, FCT (Abuja residents only)
Remuneration: NGN 580,000 Monthly
