Role Description The Clinical Operations Coordinator and Head of Lagos Clinic is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves managing clinic workflows, supervising clinical and support staff, coordinating patient scheduling, and monitoring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The individual will track key performance indicators, optimize resource utilization, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the clinic. They will collaborate with medical and administrative teams on patient care plans, documentation, and regulatory compliance, while addressing patient concerns and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment. The role also includes participation in clinical meetings, supporting training activities, and providing leadership guidance to ensure efficient and consistent operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with patients, clinical staff, and management.
- Clinical expertise in Medicine and Patient Care, with the ability to oversee treatment standards and support multidisciplinary care plans.
- Knowledge of Critical Care Medicine principles relevant to rehabilitation and complex patient needs, and ability to coordinate care with specialized providers.
- Research skills to support data-driven decision-making, quality improvement projects, and evidence-based practice updates.
- Previous experience in clinical operations, clinic management, or healthcare administration, preferably in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation setting.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including staff supervision, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant clinical or healthcare degree (e.g., physiotherapy, medicine, nursing, or related field) and appropriate professional licensure where required.
- Comfort with basic health IT systems, electronic medical records, and standard office software.
