Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications for both in-patient and out-patient in the hospital under supervision using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Must be able to stock in and stock out medications, medical consumables and maintain proper inventory.
- Conduct regular stock audits, check the quality of incoming drugs and manage supply requisitions.
- Ensure medication safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Enforce strict medication dispensing guidelines as stipulated by PCN, NAFDAC etc
- Uphold Pharmacovigilance standards and ensure enforcement of all notices as prescribed by NAFDAC.
- Greet patients, answer questions about medications, and help process medication bills.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- A minimum of OND in a related field
- Must have sound knowledge in basic computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, email correspondence
- Ability to learn new inventory management applications like Lumi Merchant etc.
