Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication use.
- Provide professional advice and counselling to patients.
- Monitor medication storage and ensure compliance with required standards.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy and inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement when required.
- Ensure expired or damaged medications are properly identified and handled.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional pharmacy environment.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
- Work effectively with other healthcare and administrative staff.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered Pharmacist with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of medications, dispensing procedures, and pharmaceutical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and strong ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates must be willing to reside in the provided accommodation where required.
