Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

• Medication Preparation: Accurately count, measure, package, and label medications and prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prescription Processing: Receive and process prescription requests, verify patient information, and accurately enter prescription details into the pharmacy database.
• Customer Service: Welcome patients, respond to inquiries, answer phone calls, and dispense completed prescriptions professionally.
• Communication: Liaise with doctors' offices and other relevant parties to clarify prescription details and resolve billing or related issues where necessary.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock medications and supplies, check expiration dates, and assist with placing orders for new inventory.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure that all relevant documentation is properly updated and organized.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of HND or BSc in Pharmacy Technician-related studies or a relevant field.
  
• 1–2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician or similar role.
  
• Good knowledge of medication handling, prescription processing, and basic pharmacy procedures.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  
• Proficiency in English.
