Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a growth strategy focused on client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Identify high-potential sectors for business consulting and third-party management services across Nigeria and West Africa.
- Build and manage a new Business Development unit from the ground up, including hiring, training, and leadership.
- Craft and present compelling business proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks.
- Engage directly with CEOs, founders, investors, and decision-makers to initiate and close deals.
- Lead market research efforts to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for value-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client delivery, satisfaction, and retention.
- Represent the company at strategic business meetings, industry events, and conferences.
- Set and meet aggressive performance targets (monthly/quarterly/annual).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
- Proven Entrepreneur – with strong business-building and market-penetration experience.
- Demonstrated ability to grow client base and convert high-value opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and West African markets, and B2B/B2G/B2C landscapes.
- Excellent proposal writing, pitch development, and storytelling skills.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-starter, relentless executor, and deeply committed to results.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, digital sales platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Sharp business acumen and resilience in tough market conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Ability to lead with integrity, inspire teams, and build trust-based relationships.
