Our client, ANC Microfinance Bank, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented professional to join its leadership team as a Business Development and Financial Strategy Manager. This pivotal role is designed for an individual capable of driving sustainable growth, enhancing profitability, and strengthening the bank’s competitive position in the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping business strategy, developing innovative financial products, and forging strategic partnerships—all within the regulatory framework of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive business development and financial strategies aligned with the bank’s long-term objectives.
- Research, design, and launch customer-centric financial products (loans, savings, digital solutions) for MSMEs, cooperatives, and retail segments.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, revenue forecasting, and cost optimization to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives through targeted marketing, stakeholder engagement, and superior service delivery.
- Identify and secure collaborations with development finance institutions, investors, NGOs, and other relevant bodies to expand funding and market reach.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to enhance digital banking platforms, automate processes, and improve overall customer experience.
- Work closely with the Credit and Risk departments to ensure business expansion aligns with sound risk management practices and regulatory compliance.\
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, MSc, or relevant professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is highly desirable.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in business development, financial strategy, or a similar role within the banking or microfinance sector, with a proven track record in driving growth and profitability.
- In-depth understanding of microfinance operations, CBN regulations, and the Nigerian financial services landscape.
- Strong financial modelling, data analysis, and strategic planning skills.
- Familiarity with digital financial services, fintech trends, and technology-driven business models.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including investors and development organizations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Must be proactive, innovative, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
