Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Scholarship Coaching & Application Support
- Guide clients in identifying suitable scholarship opportunities globally based on academic profiles, career goals, and financial needs.
- Provide expert support on scholarship application components, including personal statements, essays, CVs, study plans, and recommendation letters.
- Conduct virtual and in-person coaching sessions on scholarship strategy, timelines, and program selection.
- Facilitate scholarship-focused webinars, workshops, and one-on-one sessions to educate clients on funding sources and application processes.
- Stay updated on global scholarship trends, deadlines, and eligibility requirements to provide timely, accurate advice.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive repository of scholarship resources and databases.
- Track and report on client progress through all stages of scholarship application and award processes.
Career Coaching
- Support clients in building strong academic and professional profiles, including LinkedIn optimisation, CV structuring, and personal branding.
- Offer guidance on career decision-making, academic progression, and long-term planning aligned with scholarship and program choices.
- Encourage goal setting and accountability through regular follow-ups and mentorship.
- Recommend educational programs or institutions aligned with the client’s career aspirations and scholarship options.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage and moderate a scholarship-focused community/forum to share tips, resources, and success stories.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, scholarship bodies, and global partners to foster opportunities for clients.
- Represent Pathfinder Consulting at scholarship fairs, education expos, and other events (virtual or in-person).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counselling, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 3–5 years of experience in career coaching, academic consulting, or scholarship advisory services.
- Strong understanding of international scholarship systems (e.g., Chevening, Erasmus, DAAD, Fulbright, Mastercard Foundation).
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills, especially in crafting application documents.
- Empathetic, client-centric approach with a track record of supporting students to scholarship success.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and timelines with professionalism and precision.
- Tech-savvy with experience in CRM tools, Google Workspace/Zoho, and online collaboration platforms.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of scholarship applications supported and the success rate.
- Client satisfaction and positive feedback from coaching sessions.
- Timely and quality delivery of application materials.
- Level of engagement within the scholarship support community.
- Number of new scholarship opportunities identified and shared monthly.
