Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Planning & Preparation: Develop, maintain, and test comprehensive crisis management & business continuity plans, including risk intelligence and emergency procedures.
- Risk Management: Identify potential threats (natural, technological, security) and vulnerabilities; implement prevention techniques.
- Incident Response: Assess unfolding crises, activate response systems, direct emergency measures, and manage overall recovery efforts.
- Communication: Serve as a central point for disseminating critical information to employees, media, and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and confidence.
- Coordination: Mobilize resources across departments (IT, HR, Operations) and coordinate with external agencies (emergency services, regulators).
- Training & Drills: Conduct simulations and training to ensure teams are prepared and plans are effective.
- Post-Crisis Analysis: Evaluate response effectiveness, identify lessons learned, and update plans accordingly.
