Job Summary

The account manager is the link between the client and the entire agency team. Along with their team, the account manager will act as both the salesperson for the agency and the client's representative within the agency. He/She will play a crucial role in client retention as well as bringing in new business as part of an existing client referral process.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Foster client relationships
  • Work with field sales team and Sales Manager to prepare presentations and sales pitches
  • Handle client communications and write client reports
  • Communicate client agendas to other staff members.
  • Identify new clients and potential business opportunities as well as upselling products and services.  
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients often through regular face-to-face contact and meetings
  • Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests
  • Relate with other departments in the organization in order to facilitate client requests
  • Manage a budget and achieve targets
  • Manage a team of Field Sales executives and arrange training for them if necessary
  • Generate accurate reports on the status of existing accounts and new business
  • Ensure clients pay on time
  • Identify accounts whose revenue may be shrinking so as to identify and address issues with ‘at-risk’ customers


Requirements:

  • Academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the media advertising industry will be a huge advantage
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail.

Working Conditions: 9 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday
