Water Factory Operator

Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the water production line, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all water products meet NAFDAC and company quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• NAFDAC Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all NAFDAC regulations and industry standards, including maintaining proper documentation for inspection and certification processes.
• Machine Operation: Operate and supervise the operation of the blowing machines and other machinery used in the production process, ensuring they function properly and meet production standards.
• Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal machine functionality.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of operators, ensuring they follow all safety protocols, production goals, and quality control measures.
• Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training for new staff and ongoing training for existing staff on quality standards, machinery use, and safety procedures
• Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production, quality control inspections, machine maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Prepare regular reports for management.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in water production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining blowing machines used in the production of bottled water.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of NAFDAC regulations and compliance requirements in the water production industry.
• Quality Control & Assurance: In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes in a manufacturing setting, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team, provide clear instructions, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
