Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production processes and conduct quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
- Perform tests using equipment like melt flow indexers, tensile testers, and spectrophotometers
- Analyze data and recommend process improvements to reduce defects and ensure compliance with ISO and ASTM standards
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and train production staff
- Maintain documentation and collaborate with production and R&D teams on product specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of QC experience in polymer or chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, and industry-specific quality standards
- Experience with statistical process control and quality management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
