Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Inspect cleaned garments, linens, and specialty items for stains, damage, proper finishing, and overall cleanliness.
- Ensure items are correctly ironed, folded, sorted, and packaged according to company standards.
- Identify quality issues and communicate them to the production or washing team for corrective action.
- Monitor washing, drying, ironing, and finishing processes to ensure compliance with quality and hygiene guidelines.
- Document recurring problems and assist in developing solutions to prevent future issues.
- Verify that customer orders are complete and accurately labeled before delivery or pickup.
- Maintain quality checklists, logs, and inspection reports.
- Train staff on quality standards, handling procedures, and garment care.
- Address quality-related customer complaints and assist in resolving issues.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laundry operations or quality control (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of fabric types, stain removal, and garment care techniques (an advantage).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Organizational and record-keeping skills.
