Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, trims, packaging, and finished garments.
- Track stock levels and update inventory systems in real time across in-store and online platforms.
- Coordinate stock receiving, tagging, shelving, and movement with the Operations and Logistics team.
- Conduct regular stock counts (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and reconcile variances.
- Monitor low-stock levels and flag items requiring restocking or reordering.
- Support order fulfilment by ensuring correct product selection, packaging, and dispatch.
Quality Control Oversight:
- Inspect finished garments for stitching quality, sizing accuracy, labelling, and overall finishing.
- Ensure all products meet established quality benchmarks for fit, appearance, and durability.
- Document and report defects, inconsistencies, or production deviations.
- Work closely with the Production Manager and tailors to resolve quality issues.
- Provide final approval for garments before delivery to clients or transfer to stores.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality checks.
Returns & Damage Reporting:
- Manage the review, documentation, and restocking of customer returns.
- Maintain records of defective items, damaged stock, and customer complaints.
- Recommend corrective actions to reduce recurring quality or handling issues.
Cross-Functional Support:
- Collaborate with Sales and Client Relations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Support Brand and Digital teams by providing stock data and preparing items for campaigns and photoshoots.
- Assist the logistics team in preparing inventory for events, pop-ups, and wholesale orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory control or quality assurance, preferably within the fashion or apparel industry.
- MUST HAVE Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and fashion production standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management tools, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for quality and finish.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
