UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities:

User Research & Experience Analysis:

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and behavioural analysis. 
• Gather and analyse user feedback to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
• Develop user personas, customer journey maps, and user flow frameworks.
• Translate customer insights and business requirements into user-centred design solutions.
• Monitor user behaviour and recommend experience enhancements that improve engagement and usability. 

UI/UX Design & Product Experience:

• Design wireframes, user flows, mock-ups, and high-fidelity user interfaces using Figma. 
• Create intuitive, visually appealing, and functional experiences for web and mobile platforms.
• Develop clickable and interactive prototypes in Figma to validate concepts before development.
• Design experiences that align with Losode's brand standards and product vision.
• Ensure consistency across all customer, vendor, and internal product touchpoints.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs. 

Design Systems & Documentation: 

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve Losode's Figma Design System and component library. 
• Define and maintain design standards, interaction patterns, and UI guidelines.
• Ensure design consistency across products through reusable components and design assets.
• Document design decisions, flows, and specifications for implementation.
• Support scalability by establishing structured design processes and frameworks. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Work closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, and User Experience teams to transform requirements into effective design solutions. 
• Participate in product discovery, planning, ideation, and feature development sessions.
• Collaborate with developers using Figma Dev Mode, design specifications, and implementation documentation.
• Provide user experience recommendations that support business and operational objectives.
• Support new feature launches, product enhancements, and platform optimisation initiatives. 

Usability Testing & Continuous Improvement:

• Plan and execute usability testing sessions for existing and new features. 
• Analyse user interactions and identify opportunities to improve usability and performance.
• Measure design effectiveness through user feedback, product metrics, and behavioural data.
• Recommend enhancements that improve conversion, engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously optimise product experiences based on user insights and business priorities. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field. 
• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or Digital Experience Design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Design Systems, Interactive Prototyping, and Dev Mode.
• Demonstrated experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UI/UX design projects.
• Experience designing for e-commerce, marketplace, SaaS, fintech, or digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first design practices.
• Understanding of front-end development principles and design handoff processes.
• Excellent visual design, interaction design, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Continuous learning mindset with awareness of emerging design trends and technologies.
