Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in trucks
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and engine tuning
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
- Conduct safety checks and preventive maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults
- Maintain service records and repair documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and company standards
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency repair needs
Requirements:
- Trade Test Certificate, Technical School Certificate, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a truck or heavy-duty vehicle mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy truck systems\
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and mechanical equipment\
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physically fit and able to work in workshop or field conditions
