Trainee Technician/Workshop Technician

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair communication and navigation equipment on vessels.
• Perform routine and periodic checks on communication and navigation equipment.
• Installation of navigation and communication equipment. 
• Use of necessary engineering resources to support product selection and recommendations. 

Requirements:

• Preferably male and physically fit/strong. 
• A graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.(Degree/HND) 
• The candidate must be able to work independently without supervision.
• General smartness and keen on knowledge. 
• Ability to speak good Oral English. 
• Self-starting multitasker who easily adapts to rapid change. 
• General electronics troubleshooting. 
• History of sound judgment under deadline pressure. 
• Skilled at nurturing client relationships 
• Experience filing out and submitting detailed reports 
• Committed to preserving client and business confidentiality. 
• Quality-oriented. 
• Driven to achieve  
• Keen attention to detail 
• No Phobia for Seawater, Boat ride, Height as the job is water-related ∙
• Experience with hands-on electronics  

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 150,000
