Technical Installer

Responsibilities:

• Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles, equipment, and other assets.
  
• Configure and activate tracking devices on the company’s tracking platform.
  
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed devices.
  
• Diagnose and repair faulty installations or malfunctioning tracking units.
  
• Ensure all installations meet company safety and quality standards.
  
• Provide basic user guidance to clients on how to use the tracking system.
  
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  
• Test devices after installation to confirm proper functionality.
  
• Work closely with the operations and technical support teams to resolve technical issues.
  
• Respond promptly to installation requests and technical support calls.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or related field.
  
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in GPS tracker installation or vehicle electrical systems.
  
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical wiring and electronics.
  
• Ability to use installation tools and diagnostic equipment.
  
• Basic understanding of GPS tracking systems and telematics.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems efficiently.
  
• Good communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in field environments.
  
• A valid driver's license is an added advantage.
