Job summary
The Technical Installer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of GPS tracking devices in vehicles and other assets. The role requires strong technical and electrical skills to ensure trackers are properly installed and functioning efficiently while providing technical support to clients when required.

Responsibilities:
- Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles, equipment, and other assets.
- Configure and activate tracking devices on the company’s tracking platform.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of installed devices.
- Diagnose and repair faulty installations or malfunctioning tracking units.
- Ensure all installations meet company safety and quality standards.
- Provide basic user guidance to clients on how to use the tracking system.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Test devices after installation to confirm proper functionality.
- Work closely with the operations and technical support teams to resolve technical issues.
- Respond promptly to installation requests and technical support calls.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in GPS tracker installation or vehicle electrical systems.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical wiring and electronics.
- Ability to use installation tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic understanding of GPS tracking systems and telematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems efficiently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in field environments.
- A valid driver's license is an added advantage.
