Technical Assistant
Job summary
The Technical Assistant to the Chief Interior Architect/CEO is to provide high-level technical, operational, and executive support across design leadership, project execution, and strategic management.

Responsibilities:
Executive Technical Support:
- Serve as the CEO's primary technical sounding board on architectural and design matters
- Review drawings, concepts, specifications, and technical submissions for completeness and alignment
- Screen and prioritize incoming design queries, contractor correspondence, and client requests
- Prepare concise briefs, recommendations, and decision memos for executive action
Project Coordination & Technical Delegation:
- Support oversight of multiple concurrent design and infrastructure projects
- Track milestones, deliverables, approvals, and dependencies across design, procurement, and construction phases
- Coordinate technical assignments delegated by the CEO to architects, engineers, and contractors
- Review design submissions (drawings, BOQs, method statements) before escalation
- Maintain an overview of project risks, bottlenecks, and coordination gaps
Executive Planning, Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare executive reports, technical summaries, design reviews, and board-level briefs
- Support preparation of presentations for client pitches, board meetings, and investor engagements
- Maintain structured documentation of key decisions and technical directives issued by the CEO
Requirements
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications: Microsoft Office Specialist, PMP (desirable)
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in architecture or the construction industry
- At least 2 years in project coordination, project management, or design management
- Proven experience supporting C-suite executives in technically demanding environments
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary coordination within architectural or construction environments.
