Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with production, sales, finance, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery performance, inventory turnover, and procurement savings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members.
- Manage risks related to supply disruptions, transportation delays, and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, or APICS is an advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and supply chain optimization projects.
