Responsibilities:
- The candidate will make 2-3 senators daily
- Taking accurate body measurements and creating or adapting patterns using paper or software.
- Marking fabric and cutting it according to patterns.
- Sewing fabric pieces together using sewing machines and hand-stitching, including assembling linings and pockets.
- Fitting garments on clients to identify necessary adjustments and making alterations (e.g., shortening sleeves, tapering seams).
- Adding final touches like buttons, fasteners, zippers, or embellishments, followed by pressing the finished garment.
- Fixing, mending, and resizing old or damaged clothing.
- Recommending suitable fabrics, colors, and styles to customers.
- Keeping work areas, tools, and sewing machines clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
