Education Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Advise and support students on university, application, and visa procedures for Germany.
• Guide students on program selection, eligibility criteria, and career pathways in German higher education.
• Provide up-to-date guidance on language requirements, academic equivalencies, and best-fit universities.
• Assist with documentation, admission essays, and the application process for both English- and German-taught programs.
• Offer knowledge-based counselling for major German scholarship opportunities (including DAAD, university-specific, and private foundations).
• Develop and maintain content and resources on German study and scholarship opportunities for EdMission’s knowledge base.
• Liaise between students and educational institutions for application status, information sessions, and interviews.
• Conduct webinars, group sessions, and Q&A events for prospective students.
• Track and monitor student application progress in CRM systems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, regulations, and news in German higher education and scholarships.

Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of the German education system, including structure, admission cycles, grading, and recognition of foreign qualifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of major German scholarship opportunities (DAAD, Erasmus+, university scholarships, and private grants).
• Fluency in English; German language skills preferred.
• Experience in international education advising, student recruitment, or related functions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ethical and client-focused work approach, with a proven track record.
