Job summary
We are seeking a Stock Officer to ensure that goods flow smoothly from the delivery truck to the shelf and, eventually, to the customer or production line.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Physically receiving goods from suppliers and logistics providers.
- Checking incoming items against purchase orders and invoices to ensure quantities are correct.
- Inspecting items for damage or defects before they are officially accepted into the inventory.
- Organizing items logically (using systems like FIFO—First In, First Out) to optimize space and accessibility.
- Ensuring all items are properly tagged with barcodes, SKUs, or price tags.
- Performing regular "cycle counts" or full physical audits to ensure the digital records match the physical stock on hand.
- Tracking "shrinkage" (lost, stolen, or broken stock) and notifying management when stock levels fall below a certain threshold (reorder points).
Requirements:
- BSc. or HND in Accounting, Business Admin, or related fields
