Sr. Control System Engineer (Schneider)

About The Position The Control Systems Engineer (CSE) is a member of INTECH's Control System Team at the Customer Site. The primary role of the CSE is to support the Production Team in regular operations and provide day-to-day assurance for CS equipment, systems, and applications.Responsibilities include:Proactive monitoring of base layer control systems.Troubleshooting instrumentation, Foxboro DCS (Distributed Control Systems), Triconex SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems), or Rockwell/Siemens PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) issues.Providing diagnostic support for the resolution of issues by performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommending improvements to control system hardware, software, logic, HMI and Procedures.Base layer tuning and control improvements.Work closely with the board operators and support team to identify and implement improvements.Develop and implement changes following the site MOC (Management of Change) process.Support during Emergencies & Investigate SIS trips for cause and learnings. Startup support during Plant and Equipment startup, including PSSR (Prestart up safety review).Support units during turnaround events.Participate in DCS and SIS software/hardware upgrades.Participate in weekly alarm reviews.Provide guidance for Preventative Maintenance tasks and participate in RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) studies.Advise Technicians while troubleshooting smart instruments using IAMS (Instrument Asset Management System).PCD (Process Control Domain) - awareness of site policies and first point of contact for unit PCD concerns or issues.Be aware of and always conduct work activities in compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and International Standards. Requirements Requirement:Qualification: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering.Experience: 10+ Years in O&G Sector.DCS Experience: Well-versed and hands-on experience on Foxboro EVO DCS System especially ICC and FoxView/FoxDraw and System Definition software.SIS Experience: Advance working knowledge of Triconex system, its architecture, application and communication with DCS.PLC Experience: Knowledge of Rockwell / Siemens PLC & HMI, CCC, Bentley Nevada etc. will be preferred.Location:Nigeria - Off Shore.28/28 Rotation.
