Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Braid clients’ hair in various styles (knotless, box braids, cornrows, twist, crochet, etc.).
- Consult with clients to understand preferred styles and hair needs.
- Prepare and treat natural hair before braiding (washing, drying, detangling).
- Recommend hairstyles and suitable hair products.
- Maintain the cleanliness of tools, salon area, and workstation.
- Ensure proper hair care and protective styling techniques.
- Manage appointment schedules and time effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly salon atmosphere.
- Stay updated on trending hairstyles and techniques.
- Handle aftercare advice and product recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a hair braider or stylist.
- Ability to braid quickly, neatly, and professionally.
- Knowledge of different braid styles and protective hairstyles.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work long hours and handle multiple clients.
- Hygiene and sanitation awareness.
- Relevant training or certification (added advantage but not compulsory).
