Job summary
The Field Technician (Solar, CCTV & Electrical Systems) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar power systems, CCTV surveillance systems, and general electrical installations. The role involves on-site technical operations, ensuring systems function efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain solar power systems (panels, inverters, batteries, and charge controllers).
- Conduct system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs for solar and electrical installations.
- Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, DVR/NVR, networking, and remote monitoring setup.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on installed systems.
- Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients during and after installation.
- Document site activities, service reports, and system performance records.
- Work collaboratively with project supervisors and other technical team members.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency maintenance requests.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of an SSCE
