Responsibilities:
- Involves observing and recording visitor movements
- Ensuring only authorised individuals enter the premises
- Providing basic security support. A Gateman also helps direct guests, maintains a clean and orderly gate
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent (preferred but not always required)
- Previous experience as a gateman or in a similar role is an advantage
- Ability to read, write, and maintain simple records
- Good knowledge of basic security procedures
- Physically fit and capable of working shifts or extended hours
- Polite, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
- Must stay alert at all times and follow the company gate procedures
