Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage YouTube long-form production end-to-end (minimum 4–8 videos monthly), including professional video editing, optimized thumbnails, and performance-focused publishing.
- Create, edit, and schedule 3–4 high-quality short-form videos weekly across YouTube Shorts, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Design visually outstanding flyers, graphics, thumbnails, and branded assets that reflect professionalism and creativity.
- Develop and manage a structured content calendar aligned with quarterly growth goals.
- Drive consistent community engagement — manage comments, DMs, and audience interaction to build loyalty and brand authority.
- A/B test thumbnails and titles to improve click-through rates (target >5%).
- Run and manage the existing email marketing platform, build automated sequences, grow and segment subscriber lists, and track measurable growth.
- Provide weekly performance reports and monthly strategy reviews with data-backed recommendations.
- Proactively identify and resolve platform, content, or engagement issues without allowing growth to stall.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years proven experience managing and growing social media accounts, preferably in educational or children-focused content.
- Demonstrated professional competence in video editing and graphics design (portfolio required).
- Advanced proficiency in Canva and professional video editing tools ( CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong storytelling ability with evidence of high-retention content performance.
- Experience managing email marketing platforms and building automated sequences.
- Must provide links to previously managed pages and creative portfolio.
- Of Igbo descent or fluent in the Igbo language with strong cultural understanding (highly preferred).
- Must demonstrate efficiency, proactiveness, attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to excellence.
